Aviva wanted to better support customers approaching retirement (aged 50 – 65) to plan for their future.

As a leading insurer, Aviva was already able to provide advice across multiple channels, but saw an opportunity to further deepen relationships with more customers by creating one planning tool that worked across several platforms and products.

This tool needed to offer personalised financial guidance for customers based on their needs both now and for the future, so that the best possible outcome can be achieved.

Solution

Powered by Envizage’s API, Aviva’s team developed a user journey that was led by the customer’s desired retirement lifestyle. Envizage integrated third party data into our engine so Aviva could serve its customers a relevant action plan that the customer could refer back to.

This application brings together a customer’s holistic financial information in one place, including pension details, savings and investments, and housing status. It enables a customer to quickly and easily forecast their financial future and improve it.

Results

With this new tool, the insurer’s customers were able to set retirement goals – and improve them – with onward product journeys that gave them a more secure financial future.
